The Total Improv sessions: These were the second test sessions at Dave Aron’s New Hollywood Way studio in Burbank CA 2012. Tracking the whole band at once, to see if all systems were a go and Total Improv was born.

Dan played bass with Garbage from 1995 until the end of the 2002 tour and was like a silent member of the band.
Shulman played bass on both Version 2.0 and beautiful garbage plus a couple of B-sides during the debut era. He is co-credited as penning Get Busy with the Fizzy.
Dan officially left the band in 2003 when he left to work in the A&R department at Island/Def Jam Records.

On a personal level I’d just like to say that Dan is one of the nicest guys you will ever meet on tour. He always had time to chat to fans and would help me out personally where he could, in particular getting tickets for sold out gigs and into festivals across Europe back in 1999 when I traveled to see the band at many shows. Many thanks if you are reading this.

A true Garbage legend.
